Prince Harry cheered up a tearful boy by giving him a royal spin at a sports day. The Prince took a shine to six-year-old Kavya Patel after the youngster burst into tears when he was unable to get the ball during a game of handball as he visited an east London park.Harry had been watching from the sidelines at Central Park in East Ham, but quickly gave the little boy a friendly rub on the head and then swung him around to cheer him up. Prince Harry plays handball with children at Fit and FedCredit:Getty After earlier declining to join a game of football, telling one of the coaches he was not wearing boots, the Prince happily joined in the handball game.When he was thrown the ball by a coach, he held it aloft and the young players, all aged six to eight, put their arms up in anticipation.Harry picked one lucky girl to receive the pass and start the game, and she ran off, chased by her team-mates and the opposition. He said with a laugh: “It was exciting. I was flying around, then I felt dizzy.”Harry was joining children taking part in a session of the Fit And Fed campaign, which gives youngsters in the borough of Newham free sporting activities and lunch throughout the summer holidays.
