first_imgThe East Central AquaTrojans swam in the 2014-2015 Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving meet hosted by Connersville High School on Friday and Saturday this past weekend.The EC Women took 4th place while the EC men took second in a close meet with the host Spartans. Alexis deLong, Derek Roth, and Sean Gish were named EIAC conference MVP’s for the 2014-2015 season.A special congratulations to EC’s Derek Roth for setting the oldest EIAC Conference Record in the 200 Freestyle. The previous record was set back in 1987.EC Winners include:  Boys 200 Medley Relay (Dustin Schantz, Alex Ketcham, Derek Roth, Curtis Schondelmayer); Boys 200 Freestyle Derek Roth (EIAC Conference Record); Girls 50 Freestyle Alexis deLong; Boys 50 Freestyle Sean Gish; Boys 1 meter diving Ethan Ayers-Edds; Boys 100 Butterfly-Derek Roth; Girls 100 Freestyle-Alexis deLong; Boys 100 Freestyle-Sean Gish; and Boys 400 Freestyle Relay (Ryan Lammering, Curtis Schondelmayer, Dustin Schantz, Sean Gish).EC is back in Connersville on Tuesday as they take on the Spartans in a dual meet.
