Versailles, In.— Ripley County District 2 councilman Rob Seig has announced his resignation from office. Seig told Republican party leaders that he had every intention of serving his term but decisions regarding the future of his family require them to relocate outside the county. The resignation is effective April 5, 2019 at 4 p.m.The caucus date to fill the elected office has been set.
