first_imgAs mothers around the world were honoured in observance of Mother’s Day, the Kuru-Kururu Assembly of God Church took a special time to celebrate the mothers that attend the church, handing each of them a token of love.Barbara Bagot flanked by mothers of the churchScores of mothers turned up at church despite the weather conditions, well decked, to return thanks to God for not only sparing their lives, but for allowing them the privilege of being a mother.During the brief sermon, Pastor Gladston Bagot reminded the mothers that they all are special.Some of the mothers shared the joys and challenges they face as mothers. Several lucky mothers were called to the stage on Sunday, as they offered words of encouragement to the young and aspiring mothers.As is customary, the mothers received tokens of love and appreciation from the church, as the various departments shared their wishes to the mothers in the forms of poetry, dance and song.last_img read more

first_imgURRIS GAA NOTESMATCH “N” WIN:Congratulations to Eddie Gill, 3 Colmcille Village, Cleagh who won our Match “N” Win Jackpot last Thursday night of €2,500. Winning numbers were 4, 8, 10, 16. Jackpot starts this week at €500. Thanks to all our lotto sellers and to all who support the club in this weekly lotto. CLUB MEMBERSHIP:Club membership is now due for 2016. Adult membership is €25, Student (3rd level and in full time education with Student ID) is €15 and under age is €5 (capped at €20 per family). Anyone playing football for the club must have their membership paid up to be covered by insurance in case of injury. Club members will also have first preference on Donegal tickets for the coming season. Fees must be paid in full by March 31st.
